By accessing or using the DoctorAtPharm platform ("the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service. These terms apply to all users of the site, including pharmacists, doctors, hospitals, and patients.

2. Nature of Services

DoctorAtPharm is a technology platform that facilitates telehealth consultations between patients (located at partner pharmacies) and licensed medical practitioners.

Important Disclaimer:

  • DoctorAtPharm does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
  • The Platform acts solely as an intermediary to connect patients with independent healthcare providers.
  • All medical services are provided by independent Doctors who are solely responsible for the clinical care they provide.
  • In a medical emergency, you should immediately call 000 or visit the nearest emergency department.

3. User Responsibilities

For Pharmacists:

  • You agree to verify the identity of patients and ensure accurate entry of vitals and patient information.
  • You must maintain the confidentiality of patient data in accordance with applicable privacy laws.
  • You are responsible for the maintenance and hygiene of the telehealth station/room.

For Doctors:

  • You represent and warrant that you hold a valid, unrestricted registration with AHPRA.
  • You are solely responsible for your clinical decisions, prescriptions, and advice.
  • You agree to use the Platform only for lawful telehealth consultations.

4. Privacy and Data Security

We take your privacy seriously. Our collection and use of personal health information is governed by our Privacy Policy and is designed to comply with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and Australian Privacy Principles. By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of DoctorAtPharm and its licensors.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DoctorAtPharm shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:

  • Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service;
  • Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service;
  • Any content obtained from the Service; and
  • Unauthorized access, use, or alteration of your transmissions or content.

7. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes. By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms.
